Bass Pro Shops
IN
THE BEGINNING...It was in 1971 that John L. Morris took his love
of bass fishing, a passion for conservation, a wonderment of the
great outdoors and turned it into a successful enterprise like
Bass Pro Shops which is enjoyed by millions of outdoor enthusiasts,
conservationists and sportsmen each year.
When John L. opened his small fishing
department within Brown Derby in 1971, he decided to call his
store Bass Pro Shops because it was the most descriptive of his
mission to be a leading specialist shop for bass gear. A few years
later, in 1974, Bass Pro Shops published its first catalog. A
180-page catalog of about 1,500 items was distributed throughout
20 states. Today, more than 34 million master, seasonal and specialty
catalogs, featuring more than 30,000 items, find their way into
sportsmen's homes all over the world each year.
Due to the desire for excellent quality
fishing products available at a good prices, the Bass Pro Shops
brand was developed. The Bass Pro Shops line of products encompasses
fishing, marine as well as camping products. These quality products
have been developed and tested by professional fisherman, our
expert staff, and many highly skilled craftsmen who work with
us to bring our customers top quality at great prices.
RedHead
Experienced hunters who know value
look for the RedHead brand. As RedHead reaches its 144th year,
we're often asked, "How does a single brand endure for that long,
especially in today's world?"
Since 1856, many changes and new
developments have taken place. Yet, with all the modern conveniences
and new technologies, the outdoorsman still primarily is interested
in one thing--performance. That's what RedHead has come to mean
to the outdoorsman--dependability, value and performance. So,
how does a brand endure for 144 years? By providing the best products
at the best value.

Offshore Angler
Offshore Angler constantly seeks
out the best in saltwater and saltwater fly-fishing technology
and equipment to improve your chances of success when you head
offshore. Our relationship with some of the most highly recognized
fishermen in the world allows us to learn from the leaders in
the industry. Our pro staff tests the newest ideas in fishing--from
rod and reel designs to revolutionary lures and tackle accessories.
It's their input that allows us to continue to bring to you the
best new products introduced to the market each year, ensuring
you're outfitted with the most dependable and reliable equipment
that will perform the way it's supposed to.

White River Fly Shops
Revolutionary steps forward in fly
fishing equipment only happen occasionally and are usually in
the form of different manufacturing materials. We graduated from
wood and steel rods, silk lines, and gut leaders fairly recently.
Three years ago, a newly assembled
product development staff at White River Fly Shops started a new
revolution...truly affordable fly fishing gear that maintained
quality. In fact, the quality of manufacture and componentry exceeds
that of existing equipment costing twice as much. That's our benchmark:
A product needs to be as good or better than similar products
costing twice as much, period.
From fly boxes and wooden landing
nets, to vests and pontoon boats, the ongoing mission of White
River Fly Shops is to make great equipment that is affordable.
Everyone who wants to try fly fishing, or introduce someone new
to it should be able to. That is the only way to insure the future
of the sport, and the future or our waters. Expensive premium
gear will always be out there because it's fun to own and fish
with. But as Lefty Kreh says, "If you think you need it to catch
fish, someone's been pulling your leg..."
